1. 3D Modeling of Factory Scenarios for 5G Evaluations
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologiSammanfattning : 5G is a key enabler for a variety of use cases in smart manufacturing which requires communications with high reliability and low latency. In a dynamic industrial environment, objects such as machines, production lines, storage shelves, robotic arms, and automatically guided vehicles may cause fading and have a large impact on radio propagation. 2. Detection of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in oilseed rape using Oxford Nanopore sequencing and qPCR
Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för biovetenskapSammanfattning : Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is a notorious phytopathogenic fungus and is the causal agent of the disease Sclerotinia stem rot (SSR) of rapeseed (Brassica napus). SSR is one of the main diseases affecting the yield and oil quality of rapeseed crops worldwide. LÄS MER
3. Towards an open, automated, and reproducible synthetic population of Switzerland : A preparatory, modular pipeline for agent-based mobility simulations
Master-uppsats, KTH/Transport och systemanalysSammanfattning : This thesis explores the development of an automated re-synthesising tool, called EasySynth, to generate a Swiss synthetic population and travel diaries from publicly available data. The aim is to overcome the limitations of restricted-access real population data while maintaining control over anonymisation and statistical accuracy. LÄS MER
4. Similarity metric for crowd trajectory evaluation on a per-agent basis : An approach based on the sum of absolute differences
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Simulation models that replicate realistic crowd behaviours and dynamics are of great societal use in a variety of fields of research and entertainment. In order to evaluate the accuracy of such models there is a demand for metrics and evaluation solutions that measure how well they simulate the dynamics of real crowds. LÄS MER
5. Developing an Ar milling process to improve the contact quality to InAs nanowires
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Fasta tillståndets fysikSammanfattning : The aim of this work was to develop a stable and reproducible argon milling process for InAs nanowires to remove the native oxide layer that increases electrical resistance. This was done by identifying a few milling parameters and studying them in relation to the milling rate of silicon dioxide (SiO2). LÄS MER
