En kommuns miljöarbete i relation till de svenska miljömålen. En studie av Varbergs kommuns miljöarbete.

Sammanfattning: This study is about the environmental work made in the municipality of Varberg in relation to the Swedish environmental goals. It consists of information gathered from five different interviews with people that work with the municipalities environmental work in different capacities. Most of the statistics are taken from other sources.The study also explores things that makes it harder for the municipality to achieve the national environmental goals. This study shows that the people who work with Varbergs environment are taking a lot of actions to make the environment in their municipality better but there is still a long way to go. For instance, there are still a lot of people driving cars which emits a lot of carbon dioxide. But the amount of public bus journeys has doubled during the last 3-4 years due to restructuring of the public bus routes. The aim for this study is to get a better understanding of what problems municipalities face in their work with the national goals. Because If we don’t know where the problems lie, then we can’t correct them in the future.
