EW26 : Drivanordning för vertikaltgående fönsterpartier

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Sektionen för ekonomi och teknik (SET)

Sammanfattning: EW26 is a Bachelor thesis carried out by students, Jessica Blomberg, Sara Danielsson and Mikael Johansson, during the academic year 2010-2011 at the Innovation Engineering Program of Halmstad University. The project was conducted in close cooperation with Ergosafe AB. Ergosafe develops, manufactures and sells electric sliding windows. Due to the company’s current expansion phase they want to increase their product range. The company has identified a need for large windows that moves vertically. The driving device the company uses today is limited to both size and weight of the glass sections. Therefore, the project team has developed a new electric driving device for larger and heavier sliding windows. The newly developed device is linear-driven and based on a screw principle, which makes the window system safe and flexible. The driving device is also fully integrated in side profiles of the window, which gives a greater advantage from a design point of view. EW26 is a perfect window system in restaurant environments which facilitates openings between indoor and outdoor seating. The system also has a natural place in VIP lounges in sports arenas.  The opening sections offer the opportunity to combine a tranquil setting for dinners and conferences with the atmosphere surrounding a football game or a concert. The EW26 enables Ergosafe to expand their business and offer customized client solutions in the near future.
