Kvalitetssäkring vid produktion av värmepumpar

Detta är en Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå från Lunds universitet/Industriell Produktion

Sammanfattning: Nibe Industries has grown from being a local Swedish company to a global group with subsidiaries around the world. Nibe has protected its roots and still retains the head office in Markaryd, where they invest heavily in production locally (Nibe Industrier AB, 2020). The master thesis was conducted at the subsidiary Nibe AB in Markaryd within Climate Solutions” business area with a special focus on heat pumps. Nibe is a company that is constantly growing, the goal is to deliver faultless products to the customer. The company has various departments that are involved with quality systems. To ensure the quality of the product, there are different control stations when installing heat pumps, these are spread out in each production stage. The purpose of the thesis is to provide in-depth knowledge of quality assurance and its methods, to create a basis that can form a stable groundwork for any future efforts. The main purpose of the thesis shall result in possible proposals for improvement measures on how quality assurance is to be implemented to achieve the desired quality. The assignment was to analyse and find alternative solutions for quality assurance. The background of the assignment is that costs for inspections and quality assurance have increased. It has emerged through interviews with employees and observations that reporting systems for quality deficiencies are complicated and unclear. This results in errors being reported as a “general error” with free text or not being reported at all. This complicates an analytical approach to identify problem areas and finding out the root cause of the problems. The reporting systems consist of various components, including scrapping, discovered quality deficiencies in production and product audits, which consist of a finished product being reviewed in search of any quality deficiencies. In the author's opinion, the reporting systems need to be reviewed, it is important that reporting provides more details with a connection to the root cause and results so that deeper conclusions can be drawn. The author's recommendation is to set up a completely new factor/cause groups as well as result parameters similar to the PSM method according to Ståhl (2012). This new coding system will include all reporting systems, which results in a unified system where comparison can be created between the different systems. Instead of increasing the number of inspectors, the goals should be achieved by other means such as; development work where design is maintained with quality in mind, production improvement where the products are manufactured right from the start and improvement is achieved, to increase competence, i.e. that the concept of quality is introduced throughout the company. Furthermore, in the author's opinion, it is important to have a functioning and reliable base regarding data for quality work to be able to make the right decision based on correct data and continue to constantly work with development. Training and introduction of quality concepts in all stages and departments within Nibe AB is also an important part of the change challenge. Furthermore, education on quality work and its issues should be mandatory within the company. In summary, the path to a new system will take time, of utmost importance is that all relevant departments and their staff are included in both the work with codebase, interface, and standardisation of reports. The proposal is based on the theory of Systematic Productions Analysis and Total Quality Management.
