Sammanfattning: The study is based on a survey of ethical perspectives when educators talk aboutwell-being in school. The purpose of the study is to examine how educators talkabout well-being and how ethical perspectives can be distinguished in relationto their talk about ethical values in school. The study is based on semi-structured interview questions about well-being witheducators in grades 0-3 and their perceptions. The research aim is to deepen theunderstandings about ethical perspectives and contribute to reflection andmeaning-building discussions about ethical perspectives in schools. The study analyzed result show that when educators talk about well-being inschool they based their perceptions on ethical perspective on well-being as acommunicative value in social ethical relationships. Educators, talk about wellbeingfrom their own moral positions about ethical relationship and based theirtalk about well-being on values regarding reciprocity and human equality. Theeducators also talk about social progress through dialogue and communicativeethics and how they want to make well-being visible in their ethical approach tothe student. The study is aimed to schools, educators who want to actively work to strengthentheir ethical awareness around issues of well-being in schools.
