1. Using NeRF- and Mesh-Based Methods to Improve Visualisation of Point Clouds
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTHSammanfattning : In recent years, the field of generating synthetic images from novel view points has seen some major improvements. Most importantly with the publication of Neural Radiance Fields allowing for extremely detailed and accurate 3D novel views. LÄS MER
2. Diving Deep: Seabird foraging tactics and local prey field
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. Of Aquatic ResourcesSammanfattning : Foragers in patchy environments need to decide what patches to use and how to allocate their time between them. Optimal foraging theory describes these choices through the relationship between energy expenditure and energy gain. LÄS MER
3. Enhancing Geophysical Applications with Electrical Resistivity Tomography Inversion : Uncovering the mysteries that lies beneath us
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysikSammanfattning : Geophysical methods have been widely used to investigate the subsurface in various ap-plications, such as mineral exploration, geotechnical and environmental studies. Among these methods, electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) has gained popularity due to its non-invasive and high-resolution capability in mapping subsurface resistivity variations. LÄS MER
4. Using a GIS to enable an economic, land use and energy output comparison between small wind powered turbines and large-scale wind farms: the case of Oslo, Norway.
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Responding to an identified knowledge gap, the study aims to determine if smaller wind turbines located on top of existing urban buildings are more resource efficient (land utilization and economically) than large scale wind farms. To answer this question, using a GIS, the resource efficiency of the Roan wind farm in Northern Norway was compared to a theoretical modeled installation of small-scale wind turbines on top of buildings within a 2km radius study zone in central Oslo. 5. Arbitrary motion Synthetic Aperture Radar
