  1. 1. Development of a modern catalytic system for the production of C3+ aliphatic alcohols by the Fischer-Tropsch method

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Aravind Ganesan; [2019]
    Nyckelord :syngas; Cobalt; Fischer-Tropsch; alcohols; hydrocarbons; syngas; kobolt; Fischer-Tropsch; alkoholer; kolväten;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with converting a mixture of H2 and CO, also referred to as syngas or producer gas, to higher or mixed alcohols and other fuels through a process called Fischer Tropsch Synthesis (FTS). It is a beneficial pathway that minimizes the dependence on oil and similar fossil fuels which contribute to rapid climate change by releasing harmful greenhouse gases. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Rb-Sr sphalerite data and implications for the source and timing of Pb-Zn deposits at the Caledonian margin in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Alfred Larsson; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Laisvall; Granberget; geochronology; sphalerite; ore; Rb-Sr; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The eastern Caledonian erosional front hosts the world-class Pb-Zn deposit at Laisvall (64 Mt mined) and Granberget mineralization, northern Sweden, along with several other smaller, related types of deposits consisting of impregnation mineralization of galena and sphalerite in clastic host rocks. Previous work have discussed the nature of the ore-forming processes and constraints for the timing of the mineralization, however, the mechanisms are still not fully understood and previous age determinations are ambiguous. 3. 3. Inverkan av impregneringssteget på alkaliförbrukning och delignifieringsgrad vid sulfatkokning

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemivetenskap (CHE)

    Författare :Erik Nähl; [2015]
    Nyckelord :Kraft cooking; Eucalyptus; Impregnation stage; Pulp technology; Alkali consumption;

    Sammanfattning : The technique to produce pulp has improved and become more complex throughout the years. The purpose of pulping is to liberate the wood fibers and it can be done in two ways, either by chemically or mechanically separating the fibers. LÄS MER
