  1. 1. Multiplexing NFC Antennas : An evaluation of the technique and its limitations

    Kandidat-uppsats, Jönköping University/JTH, Avdelningen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Viktor Gustafsson; Per Ottosson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :AAT; BER; DSR; Impedance; Multiplexer; NFC; Wireless Technology;

    Sammanfattning : Introduction This study aims to investigate the possibility of driving multiple NFC antennas with a single NFC-controller by using a multiplexer. An artifact was developed and experiments were conducted in order to evaluate the design choice and in addition, to observe the impact of a multiplexer in an NFC system with respect to the number of successful tag detections, bit error rate (BER), the utilization of automatic antenna tuning (AAT) and the physical distance to the NFC tag. 2. 2. Evaluation of Methods for Sound Source Separation in Audio Recordings Using Machine Learning

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Kommunikationssystem

    Författare :Amanda Gidlöf; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sound source separation; signal processing; audio processing; speech enhancement; speaker identification; speech separation; speech processing; speaker separation; single channel; multi channel; cocktail party problem; machine learning; neural network; deep learning; deep neural network; convolutional network; dual-path network; filter-and-sum network; recurrent network; beamforming;

    Sammanfattning : Sound source separation is a popular and active research area, especially with modern machine learning techniques. In this thesis, the focus is on single-channel separation of two speakers into individual streams, and specifically considering the case where two speakers are also accompanied by background noise. 3. 3. Applications of Printed and Organic Electronics : How printed and organic electronics can facilitate circular business models in the fashion industry through traceability

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Industriell miljöteknik

    Författare :Märta Fagergren; Matilda Junebrink; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Printed Electronics; Organic Electronics; Printed and Organic Electronics; Product Development; Design; Circular Business Models; Circular Fashion; RFID; NFC; Traceability;

    Sammanfattning : Printed and organic electronics have been intensely researched in the past few years, and their potential low-cost and sustainability benefits combined with their unique form properties makes them interesting from a product design perspective. However, there has been a lack of product design with printed and organic electronics, which has created a gap between research and market. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Jämförande analys av kontaktlösa betalningar med bankkort och smarttelefon ur ett säkerhetsperspektiv

    M1-uppsats, KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Författare :Tove Holmberg Tvingstedt; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Contactless payment; NFC; Near Field Communication; EMV Europay; Visa; Mastercard chip; NFC payment; payment security; NFC security; Kontaktlös betalning; Near Field Communication NFC ; närfältskommunikation EMV Europay; Visa; Mastercard chip; NFC-betalning; betalningssäkerhet; NFC- säkerhet;

    Sammanfattning : Att betala med kort är idag standardiserat, men något som också är väldigt vanligt är att betala kontaktlöst. Detta kan göras både med ett kontaktlöst kort eller med en smarttelefon. Teknologin som möjliggör detta är närfältskommunikation. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Near Field Communication Security concerns & applicable security in Android

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan Kristianstad/Fakulteten för naturvetenskap

    Författare :Filip Bengtsson; Matteo Madrusan; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Near field communication; active NFC; security protocol; security exploit; standard security protocol; NFC attack countermeasures;

    Sammanfattning : Near Field Communication (NFC) is being used more frequent in smart devices, this raises security concerns whether the users information is secure from attackers. The thesis examines the threats that NFC on Android smartphones are exposed to, its countermeasures, as well as existing protocols that ensures the integrity and confidentiality of the users data.
