   Sammanfattning : This study arises from an existential concern that there is an obliviousness in academia with regards to the recent eruption of the transhumanist movement–an ideological force imbued with potentially calamitous socioecological consequences. With the support from recent claims that the transhumanist ideology exerts powerful influence on Western politics, this study seeks to investigate how the transhumanist ideology has become diluted into parts of the European Union and why this should be a concern from a human ecology lens.    Sammanfattning : By examining the British satirical magazine Punch's presentation of the Irish during the Repeal-movement, this study explores how satire can be used as a tool for colonial powers to establish dominance over differing nationalities through print media. This has been examined by extracting traits attributed to the Irish in Punch's illustrations and articles from 1842 - 1848, the Repeal independence movements most active years. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : The aim of this paper is to investigate the Indian Hindu nationalist concept of “love jihad”, an idea based upon the alleged fact that Muslim men actively seeks out non-Muslim women for conversion to Islam by various methods including, false promises of love and abductions. While the accusation that Muslims are conducting love jihad currently is being propagated by several active Hindu nationalist groups, the focus of this paper lies on the Viśva Hindū Pariṣad (VHP) and the Rāṣṭrīya Svayaṃsevak Saṃgh (RSS), two major branches within the so-called family of Hindu nationalist organisations, or the Saṃgh Parivār.
