1. Digitally Controlled Oscillator Topologies for mm-Wave Pulsed Coherent Radar
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : The advancement of future generations of wireless communication and radar sensing warrants the need for mm-wave digitally controlled oscillators (DCOs) with high-frequency trade-offs in consideration. The purpose of this project is to investigate DCO topologies inspired from scientific literature. LÄS MER
2. Harmonisk strömsimulering i inverterbaserade värmepumpar
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysikSammanfattning : An electrical distribution network supplies power to many households at a time. Each house has various types of electrical appliances which consume different levels of power depending on its function and the load it supplies. An ideal case would be when no appliances cause power disturbances, however, in reality, many electrical appliances (e.g. LÄS MER
3. Battery Capacity Prediction Using Deep Learning : Estimating battery capacity using cycling data and deep learning methods
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Mälardalens universitet/Framtidens energiSammanfattning : The growing urgency of climate change has led to growth in the electrification technology field, where batteries have emerged as an essential role in the renewable energy transition, supporting the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies such as smart grids, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles. Battery cell degradation is a common occurrence indicating battery usage. LÄS MER
4. Investigation of ECG electrodes for burn wounds
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för elektroteknikSammanfattning : This project aims to investigate a variety of electrodes for ECG (electrocardiogram) measurements and find suitable ones for burn wounded skin in association with the Burn center in Uppsala University Hospital. To this purpose, the electrical properties (in particular, electrical impedance and equivalent circuit) of electrodes and the influence of the skin on the electrical properties are looked into, and various common artefacts in ECG measurements are investigated, such as wandering baseline (caused by perspiration, respiration, patient movement and poor electrode contact), muscle tremor artefact, 50-60 Hz power line interference and measurement noise. 5. Improved Transformer Duality Model for Geomagnetically Induced Currents
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : A lumped element transformer tank model has been developed for evaluating the power dis-sipation in the tank and flux distribution in the transformer when it is subjected to a DC current in the neutral. FEM simulations are performed to assist in developing a per-phase magnetically separated transformer tank model that takes into account currents induced in the tank. LÄS MER
