Tränare som ledare i förhållande till chef som ledare : En jämförelse av en huvudtränares ledarskap och en verkställande direktörs ledarskap.

Sammanfattning: The aim of this study is to compare headcoaches as leaders and managers, in terms of chief executive officer as leaders in companies. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with an inductive approach. By analyzing and comparing data consisting of eight interviews, four with head coaches from different sports and four with CEOs from different companies with at least 50 employees, the authors examined their use of leadership styles, characteristics, goals, and conflict management. The results showed that the biggest difference between the respective leaders is their goals. While managers work towards both economic and sustainable goals, coaches focus more on achieving results. The results also showed that both coaches and managers are guided by situational leadership.
