Sammanfattning: ThepurposeofthisBachelor’sthesiswastoexaminetheinternalinformationmanagementatBoråsBoråsTMEABviaacasestudy.InordertoachievethispurposeanInformationAuditwasconducted.ThetheoreticalframeworkormodelfortheauditwasthatofBuchananandGibb.Dataforthestudywascollectedusingfocusgroupinterviewsandpolicydocuments.Theinterviewswereanalyzedwiththehelpofqualitativecontentanalysis.ThetheoreticalmodelofChoo’sInformationmanagementcyclewasusedtofurtherdescribetheorganizationsinternalinformationmanagement.Theresultsshowalackofpredeterminedroutinesandpoliciesregardinginformationmanagementandtheuseofinformationresources.Furthermore,theunitK:,FacebookandtheweeklyThursdaystaffmeetingwereidentifiedasthethreemostimportantresourcesforinternalinformationmanagement.Inaccordancewiththeinformationauditanorganizationdescriptionwascompletedusingpolicydocuments.Theauthoralsopresentsfoursuggestionsforactionplanswiththehelpoftheresultsofthecontentanalysis.Thestudyrevealedthattheinternalinformationmanagementwasrathergood.Thiswasduetotherathersmallsizeoftheorganizationandthatthestaffhadawellfunctioningcooperation.Thiscooperationisdescribedassomewhatproblematicasfrictionbetweensomedepartmentswasidentified.
