    Sammanfattning : Much has been written about why a woman stays in a relationship with a man who exposes her to violence, while less has been written about what causes the woman to one day pack a bag and actually leave the man. Interviews with six persons, who either has personal experience from intimate partner violence or possesses knowledge of the subject through their profession, has been conducted in order to analyze under what circumstances women choose to leave a man who exposes her to violence.
