    Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna studie har varit att belysa hur sociala medier bidrar till att forma unga kvinnorsidentitet med fokus på följande frågeställningar: Hur upplever unga kvinnor att sociala medier påverkar dem, hur framställer sig unga kvinnor på sociala medier och hur väl upplever unga kvinnor att deras identitet på sociala medier speglar dem när de är offline.
