1. Optimal simultaneous excitation for identification of multivariable systems
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Having a accurate model of a system is essential for many applications today, especially those related to advanced process control. When executing a project often a lot of time is spent performing experiments on the real system to estimate a model. LÄS MER
2. Linearization Based Model Predictive Control of a Diesel Engine with Exhaust Gas Recirculation and Variable-Geometry Turbocharger
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/FordonssystemSammanfattning : Engine control systems aim to ensure satisfactory output performance whilst adhering to requirements on emissions, drivability and fuel efficiency. Model predictive control (MPC) has shown promising results when applied to multivariable and nonlinear systems with operational constraints, such as diesel engines. LÄS MER
3. Robust attitude control of a spacecraft with flexible dynamics
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : The employment of Electrical Propulsion, to reduce the cost of satellites, has also increasedthe use of large solar arrays. Such solar panels are associated with low-frequency resonantmodes, and to ensure fine pointing of the satellite, the attitude control should not excitethese modes. LÄS MER
4. Evaluation of Model-Based Design Using Rapid Control Prototyping on Forklifts
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/ReglerteknikSammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate Rapid Control Prototyping which is apart of the Model-Based Design concept that makes it possible to convenientlytest prototype control algorithms directly on the real system. The evaluation ishere done by designing two different controllers, a gain-scheduled P controllerand a linear Model Predictive Controller (mpc), for the lowering of the forks of aforklift. LÄS MER
5. Control of a Multivariable Lighting System
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/ReglerteknikSammanfattning : This master’s thesis examines how a small MIMO lighting system can be identified and controlled. Two approaches are examined and compared; the first approach is a dynamic model using state space representation, where the system identification technique is Recursive Least Square, RLS, and the controller is an LQG controller; the second approach is a static model derived from the physical properties of light and a feedback feed-forward controller consisting of a PI controller coupled with a Control Allocation, CA, technique.
