  1. 1. Structural controls on the shear zone hosted, IOCG-style Kiskamavaara Cu-Co-Au mineralization

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Författare :Nicolai Metzger; [2019]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Sweden is the largest producer of iron ore in the European Union, as well as amongst the top producers for base and precious metals. Much of its mineral wealth derives from northern Norrbotten, type locality of the Kiruna-type-magnetite-apatite ores. LÄS MER

  2. 2. The Neoproterozoic Visingsö Group of southern Sweden : lithology, sequence stratigraphy and provenance of the Middle Formation

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Viktor Ahrenstedt; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Neoproterozoic; Visingsö Group; sequence stratigraphy; provenance; lithology; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The depositional setting of the Neoproterozoic Visingsö Group has long been a subject of discussion. This study aims to provide additional insights into the lithological composition and provenance of the sediments and to provide a sequence stratigraphic framework in order to define the depositional setting. 3. 3. Multistressors Related to Climate Change and Their Effects on Global Biodiversity during the Cenozoic Age

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Miljövetenskaplig utbildning

    Författare :Robin Mårtensson; [2018]
    Nyckelord :multistressors; biodiversity; paleontology; Paleocene; Eocene; Oligocene; Miocene; Pliocene; Pleistocene; sea level; deep ocean temperature; sea surface temperature; carbon dioxide; foraminifera; ocean circulation; Cenozoic; paleoceanography; climate change; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : As multistressors have been shown to have significant effects on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, the following study was made with the purpose of examining how a number of stressors specifically connected to climate change may have varied during the latest 65,5 million years and whether it is possible to predict potential effects on global biodiversity in the future. The analyses focused on global species richness during the Cenozoic age along with variables such as variations in atmospheric CO2, sea surface temperatures and global sea levels derived from analyses of various stable isotopes found in marine sediments. 4. 4. A geophysical survey (TEM; ERT) of the Punata alluvial fan, Bolivia

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Joakim Mårdh; [2017]
    Nyckelord :electromagnetic; geophysics; TEM; Punata; alluvial fan; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The Punata alluvial fan, situated in central Bolivia (Valle Alto) between the Altiplano and the lowlands, is an important aquifer for the local rural population. Due to rapid development and population growth in the area, the demand for fresh water has increased in recent year. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Dynamics of Selachian (Shark) Dental Morphology During the Early Mesozoic

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Alexander Paxinos; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Early Mesozoic; Selachii; morphological disparity; geometric morphometrics; early radiation; Tidig Mesozoisk; Selachimorpha; morfologisk disparitet; geometrisk morfometri; tidig strålning;

    Sammanfattning : The ancestors of all modern day sharks and rays (Neoselachii) may have appeared during the Late Palaeozoic, but their major diversification happened sometime during the Early Mesozoic. Taxonomic evidence places the first neoselachian diversification in the Early Jurassic. LÄS MER
