6. Regional Rainfall Frequency Analysis
Kandidat-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Statistiska institutionenSammanfattning : Frequency analysis is a vital tool when nding a well-suited probability distributionin order to predict extreme rainfall. The regional frequency approach have beenused for determination of homogeneous regions, using 11 sites in Skane, Sweden. LÄS MER
7. Helicity amplitudes for the transition from the spin-3/2 Sigma to the Lambda hyperon
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/KärnfysikSammanfattning : The helicity amplitudes of the scattering reaction Sigma* bar Lambda -> pi+ pi- at energies below 1 GeV are calculated. They are part of a project of determining the low energy Sigma* to Lambda transition form factors using dispersion theory. The helicity amplitudes require the Feynman amplitudes of Sigma* bar Lambda -> pi+ pi- as input. LÄS MER
8. Supply Chain Collaboration : A Framework for Bridging Barriers
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för ekonomi, teknik och samhälleSammanfattning : Purpose - The purpose of this study is to advance the understanding of collaboration in supplychains. To answer this purpose, the following research questions were developed: 1) What arepossible barriers to collaboration, and 2) How can such barriers be managed? Method - This study was conducted by a qualitative single case study with a grounded theoryapproach. LÄS MER
9. Topology optimization of transient thermo-mechanical problems using multiple materials
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för byggvetenskaper; Lunds universitet/HållfasthetsläraSammanfattning : Topology optimization is a powerful method for finding optimized designs for a variety of problems. In this work, thermo-mechanical problems are studied in particular and solved under transient conductive heat transfer using 2 materials plus void in the optimization. LÄS MER
10. A Reward-based Algorithm for Hyperparameter Optimization of Neural Networks
Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för matematik och datavetenskap (from 2013)Sammanfattning : Machine learning and its wide range of applications is becoming increasingly prevalent in both academia and industry. This thesis will focus on the two machine learning methods convolutional neural networks and reinforcement learning. LÄS MER
