1. Demand controlled ventilation : Impact on energy use and indoor environmental quality
Master-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för ekonomi, samhälle och teknikSammanfattning : European buildings account for a significant share of the energy-related emissions in Europe. Addressing the increasing energy use and its contribution to greenhouse gases (GHG) is internationally recognized as crucial, and emissions must be halted. LÄS MER
2. Thin Indium Tin Oxide Layer Development for Crystalline Silicon/Perovskite Two Terminal Tandem Solar Cell
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : ITO is widely regarded as the optimal TCO for serving as front window layer in PSK/c-Si tandem solar cells. It is known to effectively mitigate several stability issues present in perovskite solar cells while demonstrating excellent lateral conductivities and optical transparency across the entire solar spectrum. 3. Tritrophic interactions with Silphium integrifolium at the axis : elucidating the role of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal species on plant phenotype
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Plant Protection BiologySammanfattning : A fundamental understanding of the intricate interactions between crops and their environment may help guide the development of ecologically intensified agriculture. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are root symbionts that can increase a plant’s access to soil resources and have been found to reprogram plant defensive mechanisms, potentially influencing the performance of plant antagonists. 4. Purification of Volatile Organic Compounds in Channeled Ventilation Pipes at the Sysav Water Treatment Plant for Hazardous Waste
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)Sammanfattning : Several channeled emissions at the Sysav water treatment plant for hazardous waste as of December 2021 exceed permitted levels of unknown volatile organic compounds (VOCs) stated in the European Parliament councils’ directives 2010/75/EU. A range of possible treatment methods are briefly discussed before zeolite adsorption, and thermal regeneration followed by catalytic combustion is decided to be the method of greatest feasibility and is the subject of further investigation. 5. Användning av den vattenbaserade emulsionspolymeren för utveckling avspecifika egenskaper hos tegel och betong: syntes och karakterisering
Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för textil, teknik och ekonomiSammanfattning : Improvement properties of building materials are essential. In this dissertation thesis, the main concern had been on synthesizing a new resin to improve the properties of concrete and brick. Solvent-based polymers have been used for many years to improve the quality of building materials. LÄS MER
