Sammanfattning: Business development is a broad concept that can be described in many ways. The focus of this report is an employee-driven business development, as employees' driving forces cause development in the company. Motivation, leadership, and values ​​affect business development individually, however, there is no unifying reasoning. Therefore, the purpose of this report is to create an understanding of the aspects that affect employees' driving force in development work. Through semi-structured interviews, employees at the study's case company Nordlo were interviewed. The interviews were based on an operationalization of the theoretical standpoints. The empirical material was then analyzed using a thematic analysis methodology. The discussion consists of the themes that arose through the thematic analysis methodology and is analyzed with the help of theoretical standpoints within the theory areas motivation, leadership, and values. The discussion is also supplemented with the help of new theoretical references and our previous experiences with working with Nordlo to find connections between the theory areas in the various themes. What the report concludes is that within the phenomenon of employee-driven business development, there are connections between aspects that have a direct impact on motivation, leadership, and values, which creates a perfect connection. In a perfect connection, driving forces are identified that have a direct connection to business development. There are also aspects that are affected by either one or two of the three theoretical standpoints. However, these still have an impact on employee-driven business development and act as supportive aspects.
