Spåren av gränslandet - Vad kan den materiella kulturen berätta om övergångsperioden senneolitikum och bronsålder period I?

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this thesis was to study a material to gain an understanding of the changing role of raw materials in society during the transition period, Late Neolithic 2300-1700 BC and Bronze Age period I in 1700-1500 BC. Theoretical perspectives include Giddens structuration theory and the Annales-school. The material was limited to parts of the Malmö area because it is an area subject to numerous excavations and includes the important archaeological sites Fosie IV and Pile No. 1. I compile the collected material in two tables and carry out an analytical study of the material. I then present my results and conclusions regarding the differences and changes in the incidence of raw material stone and metal in the hoards and graves from Late Neolithic and Bronze Age period I.
