Flyktingspionage I Sverige: En jämförande studie

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

Sammanfattning: Espionage against individuals within a diaspora in Sweden can be seen as a serious threat to the democratic values and processes, and of course, a direct threat to those who are exposed. With that insight as a starting point this study has the ambition to enlighten the reader about the problems and consequences that occurs when foreign countries try to control and threaten dissidents outside their borders. But the study wants to do it through the persons who have been recruited and carried out the espionage against individuals within its own diaspora and do that with the court cases where people have been convicted. With the court cases and the theoretical framework MICE the study aims to show which primary driving forces are present when someone makes the decision to start spying. By doing so, the study provides a more specific contribution to the broad research within the field of transnational repression.
