Sammanfattning: The purpose of the study is to examine the collaboration structure and the division of responsibilities in the work-oriented rehabilitation between three central actors consisting of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, occupational health care and the employer. The study highlights perceived shortcomings in collaboration and other problem areas in the rehabilitation work. The material was collected through a total of ten qualitative semi-structured interviews with respondents representing the above mentioned actors. The collected material has then been analyzed in relation to laws, previous research and theories concerning topics such as rehabilitation and collaboration. The theoretical perspectives on which the study is based are the Professional Theory and Bourdieu's concept of field and capital as the theories contribute to a deeper perspective regarding the problems in collaboration. The result indicates that there are deficiencies in collaboration and in the division of responsibilities between the actors, which leads to conflicts in the rehabilitation work. The result also shows that better communication and more joint meetings are required in which all players are involved. The analysis provides possible explanations for how it is likely that deficiencies in collaboration with rehabilitation arise. Through the analysis, it is possible to state that there are unclear guidelines regarding the actors' responsibility as well as their purpose and goals with rehabilitation. The conflict that arises between the actors may be due to a prevailing hierarchy of power with regard to the actors' professions.
