Sammanfattning: Ring oscillators as entropy sources for true random number generation could be affected by differences in operating temperatures. This report aims to show a correlation between changes in temperature and the entropy strength of ring oscillators as part of random number generators by utilizing mathematical simulations as well as a physical implementation on a FPGA-board. The results indicate a correlation, but a certain conclusion would require more advanced experiments.
