RQ2: How can visualization contribute to improve the utilization of test sites in a test facility? RQ3: How can robust routines be established in the process within a test facility?   Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop improvement proposals for a test facility in terms of enhancing existing planning, the visual overview of test sites, and establishing robust routines in the processes.   Method: The study is based on an inductive research approach where the research design is a case study that primarily includes a mix of a qualitative and a quantitative research method. The data for the theoretical frame of reference consists of scientific literature, while the empirical evidence has been formed through observations, interviews and document collection. Data from the theoretical frame of reference and the empirical work have shaped the study's research questions.   Conclusion: In order to meet the purpose of the study, the conclusion is that test room A needs to implement tools in planning and visualization to improve utilization of the test sites. Currently, test room A does not provide proper tools that they work with in planning or visualization. By implementing proper tools, test room A will get a better understanding of which jobs are in the queue, the availability of the test locations and the available capacity. This understanding makes it possible to increase the utilization of the test sites in a more efficient and better way. It also requires that the employees work actively to maintain standardized working methods and 5S in the processes to create robust routines because it is not carried out today.
