Sammanfattning: For many, retirement is perceived as boring and complex. Perhaps this is the reason for the great lack of both knowledge and motivation for the Swedish population to take control and responsibility for their future pension. The shift in the pension system and in demographics means that understanding one’s choices and options and saving earlier will be crucial for many of the pensioners of the future. Confidentor wants to enable more people to take control of their future pension, regardless of their financial situation today, through a new digital advice service, Pension on Demand. To create a meaningful service in an area that is currently perceived as so anxiety-ridden, boring and complex, the need to meet the demands of a wide audience is crucial. This is a thesis carried out at Luleå University of Technology in Industrial Design engineering. The project has been carried out at the consultancy firm Quality think where the work investigates how their client Confidentor can create user-friendly solutions in various parts of the digital advice plat- form Pension on demand. The project has followed a user-centered process based on design thinking and user-centered design. It is based on meeting both the user’s and the company’s needs and goals, which has been ensured through continuous contact throughout all phases of the process. Conceptual solutions have been de- veloped by first creating empathy and understanding for the user and the company through interviews and workshops. Idea Creation and concept development has been done together with the target group to explore how the web application can increase knowledge, understanding and motivation around pension. With continuous feedback and input from potential users to drive the process forward. The final design shows conceptual solutions for three parts of the website: 1) How to motivate and inform visitors to the website.2) Introduction after registration.3) The digital summary, overview and advice. The outcome of this work aims to investigate previously initiated solutions, new thoughts and insights from the target audience and hopefully a solution that can help more people to turn to Pension on Demand. Hopefully a step closer to more satisfied pensioners.
