Sammanfattning: In this thesis we introduce the concept of a p-adic analytic pro-p group. To do so we discuss important theorems and concepts connected to more general types of groups, these include profinite groups, pro-p groups, powerful p-groups, powerful pro-p groups and uniform groups.
