Sammanfattning: This study focuses on the use of digital tools in preschool. The aim is to contribute insights into preschool teachers' experiences of incorporating digital tools into their practices. To capture a diverse range of perspectives, ten preschool teachers from four different municipalities were interviewed. The study employs a qualitative methodology with semi-structured interviews, and the data has been analyzed through a phenomenographic approach, aiming to understand various individuals' perceptions. The results indicate an overall positive attitude among the preschool teachers towards using digital tools, though the approach varies based on the teachers' existing knowledge and the availability of digital resources. Digital tools are primarily used as a complement to other activities and as documentation tools. Teachers perceive that the use of digital tools promotes equal education for all children and enhances their digital competence. However, challenges include time constraints and the need for additional professional development. The most commonly used tools are the iPad and projector, facilitating language development and mathematical skills in children, while also creating new play and learning environments.
