Samverkan mellan LARO och Socialtjänsten – Kan det vara så svårt?

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Socialhögskolan

Sammanfattning: The aim of this study was to see how the interdisciplinary collaboration between the substitute treatment and the social services are working. I wanted to see how the different organizations looked at each other and what they were expecting of each other, and how that could affect the collaboration. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews with social workers and counselors in substance abuse care working with substitution treatment. To find my respondents I used a target selection. The results show different approaches on how to become an addict and how it should be treated between the social workers and the counselors in substance abuse care. It was also a disagreement on which organization the treatment responsibility laid on when it came to treatment outside the substitute treatment. The different approach made it harder to collaborate, it was power differences and it was difficult for both sides to agree. All this created frustration from both sides. Many things could though have easily been handled if both sides have had clear rules and standard procedures.
