Brandteknisk riskvärdering av Träcentrum Nässjö

Sammanfattning: This report is a fire safety evaluation of Träcentrum, a school and conference center in Nässjö, Sweden. The building is divided into five sections but because of various limitations only two will be thoroughly investigated in this report. A site visit at the location was made in February 2012 to gather information about the fire protection and evacuation of the building. Targets of protection were formed with additional criteria for critical conditions. An initial analysis was made where several possible fire scenarios were formulated. Three of these fire scenarios were selected for further analysis. Time until critical conditions occur was calculated with simulations in CFAST and the evacuation time was calculated with Simulex and DETACT-QS. It was shown that the building in all three scenarios failed to reach an acceptable level of protection. Uncertainty analysis of the scenarios was done with Monte Carlo simulations in @RISK. Finally proposals for actions to improve the fire safety were presented and validated.
