    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Paolo Teta; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Modelica; Wheel Loader; Mechanics; Object-orientation; Modelling; Simulation; Differential Algebraic Equations; Ordinary Differential Equations; Modelica; Hjullastare; Mekanik; Objektorientering; Modellering; Simulering; Differentialekvationer;

    Sammanfattning : Modelling and simulation of complex and multi-domain mechanical systems has become of major importance in the last few years to address energy and fuel consumption performance evaluation. The goal is to unify the available modelling languages aiming to improve scalability and easiness of handling complex multi-domain models. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Modeling and simulation of chromatographic separation in Modelon Impact

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)

    Författare :Oliver Thelander; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Chemical engineering; Simulering; Modellering; Kromatografi; Adsorption; Modelica; Modelon Impact; Recirkulation; Simulation; Modeling; Chromatography; Recirculation; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this master thesis is to implement a previously modeled chromatographic adsorp-tion process from MatLab into the Modelon Impact, a simulation software. Modelon Impact is using Modelica as language syntax that is useful for creating a large system of interconnected models that has the potential to work in different configurations. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Development and Use of System Modeler 6DOF Flight Mechanics Model in Aircraft Conceptual Design

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Fluida och mekatroniska system

    Författare :Niko Erä-Esko; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Aircraft Conceptual Design; Flight Mechanics; Modelling and Simulation;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a tool for conceptual design of a traditional configuration aircraft by using a parametric six degrees of freedom (6DOF) flight mechanics model implemented in the Modelica Language using Wolfram System Modeler. Being first only able to model and simulate the uncontrolled flight of an aircraft with fixed mass and centre of gravity (CG), and requiring detailed aerodynamic parameters as an input, the 6DOF model is improved by developing new features to reduce the number of required inputs while also increasing the data output of the simulations. 4. 9. Dynamic Modeling of Target's Cooling Systems

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Maximilian Cahlin; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Dynamic modeling; Modelica; Dymola; Fluid mechanics; Thermodynamics; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The thermal energy generated from the spallation process in the ESS facility must be cooled by cooling systems in order to ensure safe operation of the facility. It is of interest to understand what operating conditions of the cooling systems will ensure this safety for both stationary conditions and transient events. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The study is conducted to determine practical modelling and simulation techniques to perform dynamic stability and performance analysis on a 3 Degrees of freedom aircraft model using a Modelica-based commercial tool called Modelon Impact. This study is based on a conceptual aircraft model where in-depth details about the aircraft configuration are unknown and the aim is to determine a suitable model that can capture the longitudinal dynamics and aerodynamic constraints of the aircraft during the conceptual design phase.
