1. Geologisk karaktärisering av den kambriska Faluddensandstenen i Östersjön och dess lämplighet för koldioxidlagring
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : The Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU) has spent several years investigating the Swedish bedrock to find suitable bedrock for geological storage of carbon dioxide. Deep saline aquifers are considered to have the greatest potential, and the Cambrian Faludden Sandstone subcropping in the Baltic Sea east of Gotland, shows great potential as a storage aquifer. 2. Negative CO2 Emissions from Chemical Looping Combustion: Gas Cleaning for CO2 Storage
3. A 3D Sub-Surface Characterisation of the Arnager Greensand, South-west Skåne
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : A surface characterisation of the Arnager Greensand in south Sweden, a deep saline aquifer found to be suitable for geological storage of CO2 or energy storage, was undertaken in this thesis. Vintage seismic reflection data only available as scanned tiff images of the final stacked sections were digitized and processed using modern interpretation software to provide new insights into the morphology of the Arnager Greensand and to analyse the reservoir’s potential as an energy storage unit. 4. The significance of heterogeneity for spreading of geologically stored carbon dioxide
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Luft-, vatten- och landskapsläraSammanfattning : The demand for large scale storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) grows stronger as incentives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions are introduced. Geological storage sites such as depleted oil and gas reservoirs, unminable coal seams and deep saline water-saturated aquifers are a few of many possible geological storage sites. LÄS MER
5. Impacts on plant communities by elevated CO2 concentration
L3-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Environmental AssessmentSammanfattning : Our climate is in change. Carbon dioxide (CO2) levels this high, as the present CO2 concentration (≈370 ppm), have not been seen for the past 420 000 years. LÄS MER
