  1. 16. Modelling & Analysis of a TiltWing Aircraft

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Flygdynamik

    Författare :Felix Rubin; [2018]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this report is the investigation of a hybrid vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) tilt wing aircraft which is in development at the company Dufour Aerospace. Using a model, programmed in MATLAB® different stages of flight can be simulated and investigated. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Design and layout of power conversion chain for a wave energy converter

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Elkraftteknik

    Författare :Madassery Nithin Jose; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Permanent-magnet synchronous generator; Power conversion chain; Power take off; SimHydraulics; Wave energy converter; Wave energy; Permanentmagnet synkrongenerator; Effektomvandlingskedjan; Kraftuttag; SimHydraulics; Vågenergiomvandlaren; Vågenergi;

    Sammanfattning : Wave energy has the potential to provide an energy resource in this challenging energyenvironment. Wave energy converters are devices used to extract this energy and convertit into electricity. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Comparative analysis of winch-based wave energy converters

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)

    Författare :Aleksandar Nachev; [2017]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Renewable energy sources are probably the future of the mankind. The main points advocating wave energy in particular include its huge potential, low environmental impact and availability around the globe. LÄS MER

  4. 19. A durable mooring system for a winch-based wave energy converter

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)

    Författare :Mingming Wang; [2017]
    Nyckelord :wave energy converter; winch; fatigue calculations; Vågomvandlare; vinsch; utmattningsberäkningar;

    Sammanfattning : This project has dealt with the developing a new technology for a renewable energy source, the wave energy, which is considered as one of the renewable resources with a potential to contribute to an energy production corresponding to about 10% of the world’s energy consumption nowadays. A point absorber concept that is using a Power Take-off (PTO) unit converts the sea surface wave motion into electricity thanks to a buoy at the sea surface which is moved by the waves. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Development and verification of a wavepower drive train simulator

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)

    Författare :Eysteinn Hjálmarsson; [2015]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : With increased attention on global warming, engineers have been looking into new and more environmental friendly ways to meet the world’s ever increasing energy demand. An exciting possibility is to harness the immense and untapped resource that lies in ocean waves. LÄS MER
