    Sammanfattning : The aim of this essay is to explore the possibilities of using science fiction short stories when discussing the morals and values prescribed by the Swedish curriculum for upper secondary level. The two main focus points are pinpointing the ways in which the four short stories depict cognitive estrangement, and examining how these elements of cognitive estrangement aid in the use of these stories in the classroom.
