Sammanfattning: The primary objective of this investigation entailed examining the sexual knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of young adults aged 18-29 who were enrolled at Lund University. Additionally, the study sought to determine whether a statistical relationship exists between knowledge, attitudes, and practices. Data collection employed a web-based survey method, sent out to a randomized sample of 1,000 students from Lund University. The final sample size comprised 124 students. The survey design was constructed based on the Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) model, which seeks to establish associations among knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. To analyze the gathered data, three distinct indices were developed: one to quantify sexual knowledge, another to gauge attitudes toward sex, and a third to assess cybersexual activities on the internet. The findings revealed that young adult students at Lund University demonstrated, on average, a high level of sexual knowledge and awareness of sexual health. Moreover, they exhibited generally positive attitudes toward sex. However, considerable variation was observed in respondents' engagement with cybersexuality. Employing the KAP model as the study's theoretical framework, the research aimed to explore potential correlations between knowledge, attitudes, and cybersexual behaviors, utilizing the established indices. Notably, the results obtained from Pearson's correlation tests indicated no statistically significant relationships among the indices. Consequently, it was concluded that sexuality encompasses a multifaceted domain influenced by various factors including educational attainment, social norms, cultural structures, personal experiences, and individual values, all of which collectively shape individuals' knowledge, attitudes, and practices.
