Sammanfattning: This research paper investigates the impact of algorithmic management (ARM) on work practices within organizations that employ standard work arrangements. Specifically, the study aims to explore how the introduction of ARM systems influences individuals' perceptions, interpretations, and work-related identities, as well as the resulting changes in their work practices. By examining the potential redefinition of roles, relationships, and power dynamics, this research contributes to a better understanding of how ARM technologies are transforming the nature of work. Additionally, the study seeks to explore how individuals navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities presented by the AI-assisted workplace. The research employs an exploratory research design, focusing on a case study of TUI's Customer Service centers and their implementation of an ARM system. Qualitative research methods, including semi-structured interviews, will be used to gather primary data, and thematic analysis will be employed to identify key themes. The findings will be discussed in relation to the theoretical frameworks employed in the study, providing a comprehensive understanding of individuals' experiences and perceptions of the organizational changes. The results demonstrate a strong relationship between the theoretical framework and the implementation of ARM. This study offers valuable insights into the implications of AI technology implementation in standard work settings, providing guidance for organizations seeking to harmoniously integrate AI and human workers.
