Individens inställning är förändringsbar : -En sambandstudie mellan utbildningsnivå, moderns sysselsättning och möjligheter att visa sig kapabel till att få ett arbete

Sammanfattning: The purpose with this study is to describe the relationship betweenindividuals´level of education and few opportunities to show yourselfcapable of getting a job. The purpose is also to describe the relationshipbetween few opportunities to show yourself capable of getting a job is andwhat occupation the mother had when the respondant was 14 years old. Thestudy is based on a quantitative method based on secondary data from ESS 62012, and I used horizon for action and turning point from CareershipTheory by Hodkinson and Sparks in my analyze together with my result.The result shows that individuals with a lower education agree to a greaterextent that they have few opportunities to prove themselves capable. It alsoshowed that individuals whose mothers are employed/are self-employed donot agree that they have few opportunites to prove themselves capable.However, it seems that there are more factors that influence opportunites toprove yourself capable to getting a job, even if the attitude increases withrelevant education and social contact network.
