"Gudinnorna inom oss", en kraft i den tysta revolutionen? : ett religionpsykolgiskt utforskande av nyandlighet och dess möjligheter.

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this study was to get a better understanding of the growing interest inspiritualism and it’s possible consequences for society and the individual’s religiousmental health. This was made by seeing how well you could apply Frisk’s definition ofspiritualism (2006) and Wikström’s model of pastoral care (1999) on Bolens theory ongoddesses (1992). The method used was template style analysis according to Malterud’smodel (2014). By using two themes, pastoral care and spiritualism, and codes based ofthe two theories the material was sorted and analysed. The material was then sorted in totwo categorise, the world of the goddesses and the goddess Demeter. The result showed itpossible to read Bolen’s book as a spiritual literature and that its content overlapped withpastoral care. The conclusion is that spiritualism is capable to offer an alternative to theinstitutional religion’s pastoral care.
