Brandteknisk riskvärdering av Domarhagsskolan

Sammanfattning: This report is a fire safety evaluation of the high school Domarhagsskolan in Avesta. The evaluation has been focused on personal safety during evacuation of the building in case of fire. The project is the major part of the course Fire Safety Evaluation (VBR 054) made by third-year Fire Safety Engineering students at Lund University. A qualitative description and analysis of the object was made assess to the greatest fire safety risks. Evaluation of the fire safety situation has been done with the use of equations, 2-zone-modelling, CFD-modelling and computer simulated egress situations in Simulex. A sensitivity and uncertainty analysis was performed to identify the crucial parts of the fire safety. The result is presented as recommendations of changes necessary that shall, or should be done to lift the fire safety to a satisfactory level. The café Hallongrottan ought to be closed, the sprinkler system in the theatre ought to be inspected and magnetic door closers in the corridors ought to be installed.
