Sammanfattning: In Holmen paper Norrköping, there is a large wood store where it passes over 400,000 tones each year. In order for the stored wood to maintain the correct moisture during the summer, it needs sprinkling. Today's manual system needs to be rebuilt on a modern interface for signal transfer. This report deals with component selection and communication protocols for the developed concept, which is also its overall purpose. The main purpose of the survey has been to answer three questions: what kind of communication platform and components are most suitable for use with regard to set requirements, and whether it is possible to transmit the signals wirelessly for the wood yard. The organization's existing water treatment plants are currently overloaded and the need to save water is high. According to traditional irrigation recommendations, the wood needs 65-70 mm/m2 water over 24 hours to maintain its moisture. K.Liukko and T. Elowsson showed in their study that with climatic irrigation it is possible to reduce water consumption compared to traditional irrigation. The report presents various disorders that are considered to be a key factor when planning wireless networks. A Fresnel zone with a clear view is obtained by calculating the required antenna height. According to the Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency's PTSFS 2015: 4 §148, the maximum permissible EIRP is set at 100 mW. The work focuses on a scientific study of a scientific nature, based on printed materials and web-based sources. The developed concept in the preliminary study has been tested by calculation and simulation in the computer program Wireless Network Planner from Phoenix Contact. The study shows that, according to calculations and simulations, it is possible to wirelessly transfer I/O for the wood yard irrigation with distance up to 718 meters between transmitter and receiver without exceeding restrictions on maximum permitted radiated power.
