Sammanfattning: The purpose of this study is too find out how organizations in different regions of Sweden face and handle the problem of men being physically abused in there close relationship. The ambition is to highlight and bring attention towards the phenomenon of men being physically abused in there close relationship. Initially the police office in Halmstad was contacted to see the gravity of the situation in Halmstad 2013. Thereafter were different organization administrators, in different regions of Sweden, which were considered relevant for this study, contacted to conduct interviews. A method of strategy was chosen regarding the administrators, they were chosen because of their relevance for this study and because of their accessibility.  Further on are relevant theories used to analyze the empirical data that has been collected. Out of consideration for confidentiality will the interviewees in this study be anonymous.    The result can be described by how the different organizations respond to and manage the problems regarding male victims of domestic violence. The administrators described that men living with this social problem may develop feelings of shame, when society's ideal image of men is that men should be successful and also independent and thereby not in need of help. This problem may be perceived as something abnormal in the community as the most attention focus at the inverse problem, men's violence against women.   Studies show that the both sexes are equally of risk for exposure to domestic violence but that women are more likely to be victimized than men. This can be understood by the number of women versus men centers established in Sweden. It clearly shows that men account for the majority of the violent acts but it is also important to remember that men also can be the subjects of it, for example in same-sex relationships. It´s described that men more often are subjects of psychological abuse rather than physical, and they also describe a higher miss-trust in front of the judicial system, comparatively with women.
