The study also indicates that profitability and business aspects serve as tools for rationalizing decision alternatives, communication means to persuade other actors, and create legitimacy among stakeholders. Profitability is also a tool for managing risks and uncertainties in the decision-making situation, as it can be calculated unlike several social values. The results also show that other organizations in the industry and suppliers serve as inspiration and collaboration in the decisions.
