Betydelsen av inre och yttre arbetsmotivation för mäklarstudenter och lärarstudenter

Sammanfattning: The purpose of the study was to compare intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors between real estate students and teacher students. The study also aimed to examine whether there were any sign of group polarization, after real estate students and teacher students spending time with like-minded people. The study was conducted on real estate and teaching students at a university in Sweden. The instrument used were Work Preference Inventory (WPI), which is an established form to measure self-perceived intrinsic and extrinsic work motivation. A total of 101 students participated in the survey. The result showed that real estate students were more driven by extrinsic motivation factors than teacher students. The result did not show that teacher students were more driven by intrinsic motivation or any sign of group polarization.
