To do this the study takes a broader perspective on the women's suffrage struggle and examines the course of events and possible shifts in the Swedish debate on the issue of women's suffrage linked to violence by the international movement’s radical flank, the British suffragettes. The purpose is to examine how MKR balanced their ideological fundamental idea and radical change in the female voting struggle during 1917-1921.
