1. The Sedimentological Distribution of Upper Brent, Oseberg field, North Sea
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The Oseberg hydrocarbon field is located in the northern North Sea sedimentary basin (61-62° N) on the eastern flank of the Viking Graben and is bounded to the east by the Horda Platform and the Øygarden Fault Complex (ØFC). The field is covering up most parts of block 30/6 and 30/9 on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NOCS) but also minor parts of blocks 30/5, 30/8 and 30/12. LÄS MER
2. Sedimentology and palynofacies analysis of Jurassic rocks Eriksdal, Skåne, Sweden
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : A sedimentlogical and palynological study of samples from the Middle Jurassic Fuglunda Member, Mariedal Formation at Eriksdal, Skåne, Sweden, has been carried out. The section is dominated by sandstone with minor units of coal, claystone, siltstone and conglomerate. LÄS MER
3. Palynostratigraphy and palaeoclimatic analysis of Lower-Middle Jurassic (Pliensbachian - Bathonian) of the Inner Hebrides, NW Scotland
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : A palynostratigraphic investigation of partly ammonite dated, Pliensbachian to Bathonian (Early – Middle Jurassic) strata on the Isles of Skye and Raasay, Inner Hebrides in Northwest Scotland, has recovered a diverse but not always well preserved miospore flora and a less diverse dinoflagellate cysts flora. The studied interval has been subdivided into five biozones, A - E, based on the first occurrence, common occurrence, first common occurrence, and relative abundance of pollen and spore key taxa. 4. Sedimentology of the Bajocian Fuglunda Member at Eriksdal, Scania, southern Sweden
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : The Bajocian Fuglunda Member of Eriksdal consists mostly of sand, silt and coal arranged in cycles (2-4m). Each cycle generally starts with organic-rich heteroliths at the base and further up ripple-drift cross laminated and horizontally laminated fine sand follow. The coal seams at the top of the cycles are of minor thickness. LÄS MER
