1. MadGraph Implementations of the Chirality-Flow Formalism for QED
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : The chirality-flow formalism has been proven to simplify the calculation of helicity amplitudes, both analytically and in a first numerical implementation developed as an extension of MadGraph5_aMC@NLO. Expanding on this work, two new implementations have been developed. LÄS MER
2. Searching for signatures of compositeness of the Higgs boson
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för astronomi och teoretisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation; Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : In this master thesis we consider some phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet models, both elementary and composite ones. The emphasis is on calculating and understanding first order phase transitions in such models, constrained to be in agreement with existing collider data on the Higgs sector. LÄS MER
3. A literature review of FASERν - An emulsion detector for collider neutrinos
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : In 2021, the ForwArd Search ExpeRiment (FASER) will start searching for light and weakly coupled particles 480m from the proton-proton collision point of ATLAS at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The FASER main detector will have a sub-detector, FASERν, sensitive to high-energy collider neutrinos of all flavours. LÄS MER
4. Searching for Dark Photons with Jet
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : Dark matter is the greatest mystery of modern particle physics and cosmology. Although an overwhelming amount of observational cosmological evidence has pointed towards a dark sector, only its gravitational effect has been experimentally confirmed. LÄS MER
5. The Chirality-Flow Method for Massive and Electroweak Amplitudes
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : In this thesis I extend the chirality-flow method to the full standard model at tree-level by including massive particles and electroweak interactions. The chirality-flow method is a new diagrammatic method for calculating Feynman diagrams that is based on the spinor-helicity formalism, that before this thesis was written had been worked out for massless QED and QCD at tree-level.
