  1. 1. Confidential Federated Learning with Homomorphic Encryption

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Zekun Wang; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Cloud Technology; Confidential Computing; Federated Learning; Homomorphic Encryption; Trusted Execution Environment; Molnteknik; Konfidentiell databehandling; Federerad inlärning; Homomorfisk kryptering; Betrodd körningsmiljö;

    Sammanfattning : Federated Learning (FL), one variant of Machine Learning (ML) technology, has emerged as a prevalent method for multiple parties to collaboratively train ML models in a distributed manner with the help of a central server normally supplied by a Cloud Service Provider (CSP). Nevertheless, many existing vulnerabilities pose a threat to the advantages of FL and cause potential risks to data security and privacy, such as data leakage, misuse of the central server, or the threat of eavesdroppers illicitly seeking sensitive information. 2. 2. Homomorphic Encryption for Audio Conferencing

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Herman Nordin; Ebba Lindström; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Homomorphic encryption; VoIP; security; audio conferencing; cryptography;

    Sammanfattning : Homomorphic encryption (HE) enables computations on encrypted data making it possible to perform calculations on a server without sharing the secret key for decryption. HE is relatively new and has seen significant improvements in recent years in terms of speed of encryption, decryption, operations, and the number of operations possible to perform in a row without damaging the ciphertext. 3. 3. PET-Exchange: A Privacy Enhanced Trading Framework : A Framework for Limit-Order Matching using Homomorphic Encryption in Trading

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Jacob Wahlman; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Homomorphic Encryption; Privacy; Securities Exchange; Privacy Enhancing Technologies;

    Sammanfattning : Over the recent decades, an increasing amount of new traders has entered the securities markets in order to trade securities such as stocks and bonds on electronic and physical exchanges. This increase in trader activity can largely be attributed to a simpler trading process including the growth of the electronic securities exchanges allowing for more dynamic and global trading platforms.
