1. Modelling Micropollutant Removal Through Ozonation in Wastewater
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)Sammanfattning : Proper management of water resources is a key to climate change adaptation and resilience in modern societies. Adequate treatment of wastewater is essential for ensuring the sustainability of the water cycle and the health of the environment and the ecosystems that inhabit it. LÄS MER
2. Lab experiments using different flotation cell geometries
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurserSammanfattning : Due to the increasing demand for processing low-grade ores, larger volumes of material are being processed. Therefore, the size of flotation equipment has significantly increased for the past decades. The studies related to scale-up are and will remain to be crucial in terms of designing larger flotation equipment. LÄS MER
3. Inhibition Kinetics of Hydrogenation of Phenanthrene
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)Sammanfattning : In this thesis work the hydrogenation kinetics of phenanthrene inhibited by the basic nitrogen compound acridine and the non-basic carbazole was investigated. Based on a transient reactor model a steady state plug flow model was developed and kinetic parameters were estimated through nonlinear regression to experimental data. LÄS MER
4. Characterization of heterogeneity of biomolecular interactions using 3rd generation biosensor
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemivetenskap (CHE)Sammanfattning : A new tool for kinetic evaluation of kinetic rate constants is enabled by a 3rd generation biosensor. The tool is developed to meet the need of reliably experimental information and communication between pharmaceutical companies and regulatory agencies to increase the productivity and decrease the associated risks. 5. Multi-energy well kinetic modeling of novel PAH formation pathways in flames
Master-uppsats, KTH/Kraft- och värmeteknologiSammanfattning : Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are harmful by-products formed during combustion of hydrocarbons under locally fuel-rich conditions followed by incomplete combustion. PAHs act as precursors during the formation of soot. PAHs and soot are harmful for human health and legislation limits the emission of unburned hydrocarbons and soot. LÄS MER
