    Sammanfattning : This project was conducted as a case study at Öhlins Racing AB, a manufacturer of suspension systems for automotive applications. Öhlins usually manufacture their components by traditional methods such as forging, casting, and machining. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Real-Time Vehicle Trails in Deformable Terrain

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Alexander Frisk; [2017]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : One way to make racing games more realistic is to have the vehicles in the game deform the terrain and leave permanent trails when driving them. This master thesis presents algorithms and theories about generating those trails behind the vehicles in real-time applications. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Motorcycle Cornering Improvement : An Aerodynamical Approach based on Flow Interference

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Aerodynamik; KTH/Mekanik

    Författare :Vojtech Sedlak; [2012]
    Nyckelord :aerodynamic; fluid mechanics; interference; blockage; airfoil; wing; bluff body; motorcycle; moto; motorbike; MotoGP; road racing; aerodynamik; fluid mekanik; flöde interferenser; vinge; motorcyckel; MotoGP; roadracing;

    Sammanfattning : A new aerodynamic device, based on flow interference effects, is studied in order to significantly improve the cornering performance of racing motorcycles in MotoGP. After a brief overview on why standard downforce devices cannot be used on motorcycles, the new idea is introduced and a simplified mechanic analysis is provided to prove its effectiveness. LÄS MER
