  1. 26. The design of a hydraulic equalizer bar for the feeding mechanism on forest harvester heads

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematik

    Författare :Arvid Söderlund; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Harvester; Harvester head; Komatsu Forest; Hydraulics; Equalizer bar; Parallellstag; Stag; Skogsmaskin; Skördare; Aggregat; Skog;

    Sammanfattning : Due to the importance of a correct tree placement and the wear that occurs to equalizer bars inharvester heads, Komatsu Forest AB in Umeå was interested if the bar could be replaced with ahydraulic system. According to Komatsu, the problems were that the equalizer bars that are responsible forsynchronizing the delimbing knives and feeding mechanism add weight, take up space and have atendency to break before their life expectancy. 2. 27. Utilizing Neural Networks To Adaptively Demodulate And Decode Signals In An Impulsive Environment

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Avdelningen för datalogi

    Författare :Andreas Andersson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Neural Network; Demodulation; Decoding; Impulsive Noise; Alpha-stable Noise;

    Sammanfattning : Electromagnetic disturbance can be detrimental to the performance of a radio communication system, and in today’s society where more and more electronic devices are present in our everyday life it is increasingly vital to consider man-made interference. A communication system can take into consideration the noise characteristics and by doing so will excel in such areas, however, this follows that the algorithms utilized in such systems are more computationally complex and are therefore slow. 3. 28. Leveraging green hydrogen to decarbonise the aviation industry : A case study on electrofuels in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Jakob Bergene; Jonathan Bruchhausen; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Electrofuel; e-fuel; electrokerosene; e-kerosene; SAF; sustainable aviation fuel; sustainable aviation; complementarity formation mechanisms; technology value chains; TVC; Techno-economic analysis; TEA; Elektrobränsle; e-bränsle; elektrofotogen; e-fotogen; SAF; sustainable aviation fuel; sustainable aviation; komplementära formationsmekanismer; technology value chains; TVC; Techno-economic analysis; TEA;

    Sammanfattning : For the EU to reach its 2050 climate targets the aviation industry that is highly dependent on fossil fuels needs to drastically reduce its emissions. In the decarbonisation of the aviation industry drop-in sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) have been identified as a promising solution to abate the industry’s emissions. LÄS MER

  4. 29. Agile robotic arm for vertical applications - Evaluation, design and development

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Maskinelement

    Författare :Rasmus Gren; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Robotic arm development; HKM; Kinematics; Product development; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Existing pick and place robots are either heavy or have a limited workspace for vertical operations. Since there is no robot today that are both light and have a good vertical workspace, this leads to a gap in the market. LÄS MER

  5. 30. The Promise of a Green Revolution : Conceptions of climate change and sustainability in local movements objecting to mining establishment

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för kulturantropologi och etnologi

    Författare :Caroline Reinhammar; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This study explores how vernacular understandings of climate change and sustainability are formed in relation to local disputes concerning mineral exploration. In a search for a solution to climate change, the interest in rare earth elements (REEs), and other metals used in green technology has resulted in granting mining companies processing concessions in Sweden.
