1. A Structural Analysis of the Fracture Sets in Gothenburg, Sweden: A Remote Sensing and Manual Lineament Approach
Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The fracture-valley landscape within the Gothenburg region was analysed based on LiDAR-derived hillshade images as well as several sources of orthomosaics. Using a manual lineament interpretation approach and complimented with an objective fractal analysis software (FROST), the objective of the study was to characterise the regional fracture sets as well as attempt to link the sets to the complex regional geological history. 2. Character and Evolution of Ore Mineralisation in the Te-Rich Enåsen Au-Cu Deposit, Central Sweden
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The Enåsen gold deposit is located in Gävleborg county in central Sweden. Mining operations at Enåsen took place from 1984 to 1991 with Au as the main target for exploitation. The deposit has been interpreted as a metamorphosed Palaeoproterozoic analogue to near-recent epithermal Au mineralisations of a high sulphidation type. LÄS MER
3. Integration of geology with geophysics : Case studies from Svalbard
Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknikSammanfattning : This is a study where new and old geophysical data together with information found in literature has been integrated to get a better understanding of the geological evolution of Svalbard. The purpose of the study is to acquire and integrate different geophysical data over the Central Spitsbergen Basin (CSB) and across the Billefjorden Fault Zone (BFZ). LÄS MER
4. Structural investigation of ductile deformations across the Frontal Wedge south of Lake Vättern, southern Sweden
5. The Structural Architecture of the Barsele Area, Sweden : Characterising the deformation events and mineralisation
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurserSammanfattning : Located at an important intersect between orogenic Au deposits in Sweden’s Gold Line and volcanicmassive sulphide (VMS) deposits in the Skellefte Mining District, the Barsele area is of high interest.Currently, the Barsele deposit consists of the Norra VMS deposit and 3 intrusive-hosted orogenic Audeposits: Avan, Central, and Skiråsen which are hosted in a 1876 ± 10 Ma early orogenic granodiorite(Thomas, et al.
